Uncommen: Escape Roomಮಾದರಿ
The Next Challenge
"Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'" - Matthew 28:18-20
With the power of Jesus, we have completed our escape room analogy. But we have one more challenge for you.
I don't know if these escape rooms have a wall of fame where they put your picture if you finish. But we do have something similar to "The Lamb's Book of Life." As outlined in our scripture verse, the Great Commission is a challenge that is always present tense. You and I were not qualified to pay our sin debt, but we are qualified to lead people to Christ by being redeemed.
After all, if Jesus was willing to do the will of the Father, we should be willing to as well. Although we may not always think we can, Jesus has given us a task that we can achieve. The best thing is we are not alone when we are doing it; as He said, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." With the power of the Holy Spirit, the example of Christ, and the will of the Father, we should be able to reach the ends of the world with the Good News.
After all, someone was obedient and told us about Jesus, so we have an obligation to do the same for those without Christ.
I pray this study has sparked something in you to reignite your walk with Christ and start the Great Commission all over again.
Uncommen Questions:
Do you feel qualified to tell someone about Jesus?
When was the last time you told someone about Jesus?
If you've answered "No" and "Never" to the last two questions, speak to someone at church or a mentor to help you. Find someone who can help you talk about the love and power of Christ. You don't have to be the next Billy Graham, but even Billy has to start somewhere.
Uncommen Challenge:
I challenge us never to look at an escape room the same way again. Instead, we thank Jesus for His willingness to pay a debt He did not owe.

About this Plan
Most have heard of an Escape Room and so over the next five days, we are going to use that as a God-sized analogy and use the tomb of Jesus as the ultimate escape room. Join us as we watch our Savior do what only He could and overcome death.
