Married Couples: 16-Day Prayer Challengeಮಾದರಿ
"Love Always Hopes"
By Diego Becerra
“It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”—1 Corinthians 13:7 (NIV, emphasis added)
“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”—Mark 10:9 (NIV)
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”—1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)
Father, thank You for blessing us with each other. Our hope is in You, Lord, and our hearts are constantly rejoicing in Your peace—the peace only You can give—and the love You bestow on us daily. We thank You, Father, that we have each other, and we acknowledge You Lord as the strong cord that ties the three of us together as one in our marriage. Lord Jesus, we thank You for being the living hope that indwells in us. Everything we need, we find it in You. You are our inspiration to live, to love, our hope, “and our everlasting joy” for eternity to come.
Father, we pray for marriages that are suffering today; for them to come to know You and to receive Your blessings of peace, mercy, and grace in their hearts. We pray for their hearts to be transformed with the full strength of the word agape for each other and for them to see the other as made in your image. Lord, only You can bring hope to humanity, and only You have the power to transform hearts. We come to You asking for blessings unto all those looking for Your love and those who need Your hope for their marriages. We love You Jesus, and we ask these petitions in the most precious name of all, Your name Lord Jesus. Amen.
