Hunger and Thirst After Righteousness.

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Choose to hunger and thirst after righteousness. Choose to hunger after God’s Way of doing things. Choose to thirst after God’s Word. Let His Word become your foundation, blueprint, and framework. Let His Word satisfy you. Let His Word lead you. Let His Word build you up. Let His Word strengthen you.

The Amplified Version puts it this way, “Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!” Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭AMPC. ‬‬

Choose to be completely satisfied in Christ. May His Word lead you. May His Word bless you. May His Word have dominion in your heart.

The New Living Translation declares, “God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.” Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬. Seek God’s Way. Seek justice. Seek Christ, and you will be satisfied.
