Pure Decisions Create Pure Powerಮಾದರಿ
Act or React?
What is the first thing in the morning we do? Act or react?
Right after waking, if you pick up your phone and respond, your energy and attention are misdirected from an active to a reactive state. Choose to decide how you will operate in your day. Time and time again, Scripture talks about being filled and pouring out. To be filled means being abundant in and alive with the Spirit, even as we spend our energy and pour into others. We could have the largest cup, but it will not become full if it's not under a consistent flow.
Where are we getting filled? Looking at the fruit of our lives, Jesus tells us to judge the fruit, and if we are displeased, we can uproot it. If anything causes us to sin, CUT IT OFF. The story of the garden never ends because it paints such an incredible picture of how we can learn these Spiritual truths and laws God so incredibly set in place. The enemy of this world is constantly trying to put weeds of strongholds in your life to keep you from your fullest potential. We must partner with the Holy Spirit and tend the garden of our mind to create a mindset fixed on Jesus and the promises of God that will produce a fruitful harvest in our lives.
Lord, Thank you for creating me in your image. I know my life is better when I act and do not react. Please give me the wisdom of navigating the circumstances I am in and creating a beautiful journey with you. I cut off everything that pulls me away from my relationship with you and fix my eyes on Jesus. Jesus, thank you for being the author and finisher of my faith to help me be faithful in every sense of the word. Amen.
