Guardians Of Ancora Bible Plan: Ancora Kids Find A Romanಮಾದರಿ
AUTHORITY AND FAITH
There are two important words for this Bible reading plan.
The first is: AUTHORITY.
Authority means having the right and the power to give orders and have them obeyed. The Roman officer knew what it was like to have authority.
What happened when he told his soldiers to do something?
When he thought about it, the Roman realised that Jesus had authority too. Jesus didn’t need to be there to heal: he had the authority to do it, just like that.
The second important word is: FAITH.
Faith is belief or trust in somebody or something. Jesus was surprised by the officer’s faith, because the officer wasn't a Jew – he wasn’t one of God’s people. Jesus had never seen faith like that of this soldier.
This Roman officer believed in Jesus – and his servant was healed.
Do you believe that Jesus can help you?
Pray: “Jesus, thank you that different types of people can have faith. Help me to have faith in you.”

About this Plan
For the three days of this plan, Ancora Kids will be exploring an unusual miracle of Jesus: unusual because of the people who were involved and unusual because of how it all took place. And, if that’s not enough, even Jesus gets a surprise in this good news story. The plan complements the free children’s game app Guardians of Ancora.
