The Garden of Your Mind ಮಾದರಿ
When I first began to visualize what a beautiful mind might look like - the image I landed on was that of a garden. I love that Scripture is full of amazing nature analogies. In fact- as I write this on a retreat- I am overlooking a Dutch garden which resembles more of an English scene with wildflowers and box hedges, butterflies, and cute fruit trees.
Our mind has a landscape. And what that looks like is entirely up to you and I. God may be the creator of your mind but you are the head gardener. It is our responsibility to choose what stays and what goes. What we sow and what we need to uproot.
My garden can be shaped by beautiful thoughts like flowers that are sown and nurtured. And by powerful truths that stand strong like trees because they are deeply rooted from His Word. Or it can be a place of compromise- where ‘weedy lies’ and thorns are permitted to take root and create a toxic environment- choking out the sunlight.
That was the place I had found myself in 2017. I had not been investing enough time to build myself up in the truth of who I was, or who God was for me. Weeds of fear had been seeded and grown and I was compromising who I was called to be. And when we do that - we are undermining the power of the cross in our life. When my eyes were opened to that truth- it activated two things into my life:
It brought a godly sorrow into my heart and a fresh repentance. And a new resolve to engage in the spiritual battle for my mind.
Do you want to be a woman who lives your life out of your identity in Christ?
Do you want to enlarge the tent of your thinking?
Do you want to start exercising your authority from your position in Christ?
The answer is in capturing your thoughts and changing the way that you think. This is war, friends! This only works when you saturate your mind with God’s truth. Not a trickle. God’s Word needs to run through our spiritual veins so it can help us counterattack and demolish Satan’s primary weapon: lies. His Word living in you is your most secret power.
You don’t have to be controlled by your thoughts- you CAN learn to control them.
About this Plan
What makes a mind beautiful? We can all feel captive to defeated, insecure, fearful thoughts. But when we choose to renew the landscape of our mind with the truth of our identity in Christ, we find the Holy Spirit empowers us with new hope and authority which will revolutionise our lives and break enemy lies. This plan by Beautiful Minds is for women who seek that new place of freedom.
