Unleashing Love and Faithfulness

God’s love is the greatest power that exists. It was through love that God performed His work of creation and raised Jesus from the dead. Love heals where there is disease, unites where there is division and provides strength where there is weakness. God’s love casts out fear.

That same love is poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Through love, God created each of us in His image to do good works in partnership with Him. In fact, Jesus told us that we could do the things he did and more if we simply have faith.  

But as with any gift, to experience the benefits of God’s great love working in and through us we have to receive it, believe in it and use it. We must trust that God can and wants to work in our lives. 

God is always there for you, ready to lead you to greater things than you can imagine. Your part is to:  

• Receive God’s love: Read scripture about God’s great love for you. Plug your name into the verses and pray them over yourself daily allowing His love to fill your heart. 
• Tune into the Holy Spirit: God’s love will naturally make you more sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Ask for that guidance, then listen. The more you are willing to surrender to the Spirit, the more clearly you will hear His guidance. 
• Increase your faith: Jesus told us that all things are possible for those who believe. We are to walk by faith, not by what we see. Keep a journal of how God shows up, especially in the most unexpected ways. Pray that God will increase your faith, just as the disciples did (Luke 17:5).  
• Take Spirit-led action: The most powerful way to experience God’s faithfulness is through your own obedience. Take action as the Spirit leads, even when it doesn’t make sense. Then watch where God takes you and praise Him. 

Allow God’s love to push fear and doubt away so your view for what He has for you gets even clearer.

Prayer

Lord, forgive me when I give into fear and get distracted from your promises. Increase my faith and help my unbelief. Thank you for Your great love. Help me to hear your voice and take obedient action for Your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
