Breakthrough is in Youಮಾದರಿ
More often than not, breakthrough runs directly into opposition. The reality is, when you are in pursuit of something, when you are on your journey to that next level, that next dimension, there will be opposition. But, you cannot be afraid of it. So many people miss their moment of breakthrough, because when the opposition presents itself, they shrink back. Something in them gets small, and they think the opposition is greater than the promise God has given them. As a result, they retreat and give up on their breakthrough, which, in turn, costs them and those who they lead.
Opportunity can come disguised in armor, looking like opposition. Sometimes, we focus on the disguise of opposition and begin to think that maybe what we were hoping for is not ever going to happen. We see the opposition, but we do not see the opportunity—we only see resistance. Often, opposition is there because it will produce something that you need for where you are going: faith, character, patience, strength, and so on. Instead of viewing opposition as attempting to take something from you, view it as adding to you what you need to stand in your new place.
If you are going to break through and lead others to breakthrough, you have to know how to refuse to allow the voices of rejection and resistance to convince you to back up. Something on the inside of you has to stand up and say, “In spite of resistance and rejection, I am going to break through—it does not matter what anyone else says or thinks about it. I will break through.”
Many people live their lives expecting to be rejected, looking for someone to disagree with them, disapprove of them, or not accept them. Secretly, they hope that someone will do so and give them an excuse to give up on their dream. We, as leaders, coaches, and trainers cannot afford to live like this. More than our futures are at stake. Instead, we must learn to live as though there were a “yes” over our lives, like there is a promise of breakthrough over us. We must never forget that the promises of God are yes and amen in Him (2 Corinthians 1:20).
