Loneliness - SE Studentsಮಾದರಿ
Loneliness is one of the hardest emotions to describe because it looks so different for everyone. Some people love being alone and feel the most lonely in a large crowd. Some people hate being alone and feel the most lonely at the end of the day when there is no one left to talk to. And some people feel lonely in a more abstract way: they feel isolated because of their relationship status, because trust has been broken in a friendship, or because they are alone in their beliefs. Wherever and however you feel loneliness, it is valid. Since loneliness is a personal emotion, it can actually make us feel even more isolated. It can be difficult to explain how specifically the feeling of loneliness manifests itself in your life.
This week, we are going to look at some people from the Bible who all experienced loneliness in different ways. We will see how God, in His goodness, met them where they were and reminded them of His presence and His faithfulness.
Some things to keep in mind as we dive into these Scriptures: Being alone and being lonely are not the same. You can be alone without being lonely and you can be lonely without being alone. God wants to spend one-on-one time with you. Never be afraid to seek out alone time with the Father.
