Thriving in Your Singleness Part Twoಮಾದರಿ
Day 3
Pain, Process, and Preparation
While you are thriving in your singleness and living your purpose, some people only see the pretty side of your God-ordained purpose. They don’t know the pain, pressure, and the process you had to go through to get to where you are! Praise God for the perseverance to press forward.
“You cannot fulfill God's purpose for your life while focusing on your own plans.” - Rick Warren, Author of Purpose Driven Life
The 3-Ps connected to your Purpose:
"The higher your position, the more pains you must bear."- Samuel Chand
Pain: What's more painful? Standing still or moving forward in your purpose? Both are painful, but which one is more rewarding? We all know the popular slogan "no pain no gain.'' This slogan means that you cannot achieve anything without suffering and effort. Some of us are asking God to take away the pain. However, we should be asking God to give us grace and peace of mind to push through. Pain and challenges are purpose launchers.
There will be pain attached to your assignment and purpose. Sometimes we go through certain things not just for ourselves, but also for others. Pain produces purpose! While living your purpose, comes your breakthrough! Changing your perspective will help you find the joy of the Lord in the midst of your pain.
Will you focus on the pain attached to your assignment or will you focus on the great things that will be produced from your pain?
Process: Some people hate where you are going, but they will also hate to go through the process you went through to get there! In order to reach your destiny and become all that God has called you to be, you must go through a process. Your process will be a true test of your character, endurance, strength, and your faith, and trust in God. There is always a process for the provision of God's promises.
Preparation: Some of you have been passing those hard tests behind closed doors. Your process was necessary for your promise. Your pain was necessary for your provision. Your disappointments were necessary for your determination to keep moving forward. God has already prepared a place for you. Be grateful for your journey because it was preparation for your NOW season. Prepare for what you are praying for.
Today’s assignment: Make a vision board for your purpose.
About this Plan
