The manifestation that changes the world 🌎

There is a work the Holy Spirit wants to do through you that is both practical and powerful. He wants to manifest Himself through your skills, career and family. 

Would you allow the Spirit to manifest Himself through you at work, on the sports fields, in the science lab or in the halls of government? 

There is a fascinating pattern I found in the Bible. The Spirit continually equipped people with everyday, practical skills: 

1. Designing skills: “But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth,” (Deuteronomy 8:18, NIV) 
2. Physical strength: “But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength,” (2 Timothy 4:17, NIV) 
3. Architectural skills: “the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary” (Exodus 36:1, NIV) 
4. Music skills: “He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.” (Psalms 40:3, NIV)
5. Wisdom and knowledge: “...Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.” (2 Peter 3:15, NIV)

It amazes me that the Spirit is confined to a church in our culture. 

In the book of Corinthians we read, “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.” (1 Corinthians 12:7-10)

Did you note that wisdom, knowledge, faith, discernment and prophecy could be very helpful in your business, school, classroom or medical or legal office? 

I’ve had a wonderful life in the Spirit—people healed of cancer, paralysis and countless other diseases. I’ve experienced the miraculous on many occasions, but the greatest miracles I’ve seen are wisdom, knowledge, faith, discernment and prophecy working in the boardrooms and classrooms around the world.

The Spirit loves to give us downloads to help us bring the Kingdom down to this earth. One such manifestation touched the life of an influential man in the business realm. I met him at a luncheon in a very casual way. 

That night, I had a dream about him. Someone was offering to fund his political career. In the dream, the man was dishonest, and my new friend was not supposed to accept his help. I called him the next day and decided to see if the dream was prophetic or caused by indigestion. He often tells me I saved his life. He’s a good man. He’s my friend now, and the dream brought him to Christ. Now that’s the manifestation of the Spirit. 

You and the Holy Spirit can make such a huge difference because you are becoming a miracle.
