TRUST IN GOD / DO NOT WORRY
Jesus had something to say to both, those who had an abundant supply of material possessions and to those who had not. In Parable of the Rich fool, we see how the rich man, instead of finding his happiness in giving he tried to conserve it by keeping. As long as one's attitude is that of the rich fool, his desire will be always to get more which is not the Christian way. Jesus forbids the thought of worry. Jesus is talking about our basic approach to life. Are we anxious and lacking trust in God, constantly trying to gain control of things that often are beyond our control? Or do we trust God to provide and concentrate on honoring relationships by pursuing righteousness and serving others with our resources? Two things tell us the answers to these questions: our heart and our bank account. Our heart can tell us if we are anxious, and our bank account/pocket book can tell us if we are generous. Both tell us if we are trusting God.
We are grateful and thankful to you for all you have given us. Help us to measure our wealth not by what we have, but what we can give away. - Amen
Contentment is a pearl of great price, and whoever procures it at the expense of ten thousand desires makes it wise and a happy purchase. - John Balguy

About this Plan
My inspiration for this 30 days Devotional is from prolonged theological discourses on Justice. My burning desire is to see that the Church becomes catalyst to stop violence against the poor. I am also grateful to Organizations who work relentlessly to secure Justice for the poor.
