Flourish!

DAY 1 OF 3

TRUST GOD’S LOVE FOR YOU

God knows everything about you, child of God, and He loves you unconditionally. Created in His image and fashioned with love and purpose, God calls you His masterpiece.

God knows the world you live in is a mixture of opportunity, opposition, good, evil, life, and death. Because the fulfillment of your purpose matters, God gave you the measure of faith to connect you to Him. Why? Because God is so invested in you that He presents Himself and all that He is to make you successful in your God-ordained purpose.

Trust then becomes your decision. Will you trust your Heavenly Father or yield to worldly circumstances that seem to defy God’s good plan for your life?

I entreat you to trust God. The Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent God Who never abandons His children has no equal. In fact, God is so faithful that even when we are unfaithful, He remains faithful because He cannot deny being Who He is (2 Tim 2:13).

Your faith in God empowers His promises to materialize as solutions to your needs.  Consider Ruth. Her decisions to leave her people, renounce Moabite idols and embrace Naomi’s people and God (Ruth 1:16) opened the door for God to provide Ruth a future of hope, family, and prosperity.

Reflections:

1. Difficult times come to all. Do I think God loves me less when difficulties come?

2. Love never stops loving. Then why am I apt to doubt God’s love for me in the midst of difficult times?

Scriptural Demonstration of God’s Ways of Loving:

Isaiah 43:2, NLT: “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

Jeremiah 31:3, NIV: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

About this Plan

Flourish!

Who said you can’t flourish in hard times? Not the Bible! Why? Because God expects His children to trust Him as their Provider and Caregiver. Over 3,000 years ago, Ruth, a widowed Moabite refugee, experienced God’s miraculous provision of home and engrafting into the Messianic line. A shining example of how to overcome extreme difficulty, I believe Ruth’s encouragement in our hard times is one decision: “Flourish!”
