SOAP – Ecclesiastes 3:14-15; Solomon concludes that God has placed eternity in man’s heart with a longing that only He can satisfy. He remembers that God is holy and should be reverenced and respected because of His great and awesome power. He recommends that man enjoy all the great blessings from God in life, because they are gifts from Him. Since God will judge the deeds and the hearts of each person, everything we do has meaning. How we live and what we believe is important. Our life is not meaningless.

In this eight-week Online Ecclesiastes Bible Study at Love God Greatly, our questions regarding the meaning of life will lead us to Solomon’s wise conclusion: that in order for one to find meaning, purpose, and satisfaction in life, he or she must know God. To know the Lord, to love Him, fear Him, follow Him, and find our identity in Him is what frees us to enjoy the temporal gifts in this life and to look beyond those gifts to life everlasting.
