Get a drinking glass and place it in the sink.

Turn on the tap and let water overflow the glass.

Or

Place your hands under your shower or under the tap and let the water overflow them.

Let the action become an enacted intentional prayer for your life and those around you.

Practice
God’s voice and servants rarely come from the people and places we expect. We see that from this reading in John.

Phone, message, write to or reflect on, over the next few days, those “surprising servants”: People, perhaps who may have been discounted by our culture but have demonstrated time and again a deep desirable devotion to Jesus; People who overflow with love and generosity (v 38).
