Praise in the Midst of the Storm ಮಾದರಿ
Speak to the Storm
Have you ever had the wind knocked out of you? It can be one of the most frightening feelings. When it’s happening, it feels like it will last forever and that you just might die. But then it passes and your breathing returns to its normal rhythm. The storms of life can knock the wind out of your sails, attempting to steal your voice and silence your soul. Maybe the storm is so intense it has left you speechless, frozen with fear. You must find your voice to speak to the storm, to remind your storm who is in charge. God is in charge!
The Word of God is full of stories of people that were facing severe storms but ultimately overcame them, and so can you. Reading the biblical stories of David defeating Goliath, Daniel surviving the lions’ den, or Jesus robbing the grave will remind you that the same God that delivered them can also deliver you. You must believe the storm will pass, speaking by faith and proclaiming the promises of God to your storm. God does not have amnesia. He hasn’t forgotten His promises. By proclaiming His promises, we stir up our faith and remind ourselves of the mighty God we serve.
You can declare to your problems just how big your God is and that nothing is impossible for Him. Let your proclamation of His promises be your response to the raging storm. You can boldly declare, “My God’s got this!“
He promised He would and He always comes through on His promises. He promised He is your Provider, Healer, Protector, and Peace and that He would never leave or forsake you.
God is a promise keeper!
You must stand on His promises, push through by faith, and fight.
Most of all, you must find your voice and speak to the storm.
