Think Well, Live Wellಮಾದರಿ
A Battlefield
The mind is one of the greatest battlefields in existence, the place of personal confrontation, which lies between one ear and the other.
The battles in our mind can take different forms. It can happen that a thought whispers to you that someone does not like you, that you are not capable, or even that God does not love you.
What battle are you fighting in your mind?
You may think that you are hated in your workplace, or that you will never be able to improve your financial situation. But I'd like you to ask yourself if that's really the case or if it's just the reality you formed with your own thoughts. We all live in a reality shaped by our own mentality.
Many of us are struggling with our thoughts and we must win that battle. But this will only be possible if we let the Word of God transform us by renewing our minds.
What dominates our thoughts has a great impact on who we are, how we live and what we do.
Imagine what your life would be like if you really believed what God said about you. God moves beyond your mistakes. He doesn't get stuck in your weaknesses. He doesn't see you as you perceive yourself; He sees you according to what He has placed in you.
You may say to me, "My family was imperfect, I have a heritage of violence, of vices and of abuse. I can't get out of that circle."
I want to remind you that when you received Christ you became a new creation. Do not live according to the imperfections of your natural parents or what you inherited, but according to the perfection of your heavenly Father.
Someone once said, "Don't let the pain of an imperfect past stand in the way of the glory of a wonderful future. A wonderful future is what God has for your life! I encourage you not to give up on the battlefield and to begin to perceive yourself as God says you are, so that you can do what He says you can do.
