Sharing God: Reflections on 2 Corinthians 5:11-21ಮಾದರಿ
DAILY SCRIPTURE
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
(2 Corinthians 5:20 NIV)
GOD’S HEART FOR THOSE WHO DON’T YET KNOW HIM
God is passionately pursuing connection with all people. We see throughout scripture God’s heart to seek out those who do not yet know him. In Luke 19:10 (NIV) Jesus says,
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
The people we encounter in our lives are all at different stages in their journey with Jesus. Some may have come from Christian families and been Christians for as long as they can remember, some may be new in their faith. Some might be starting to ask some big questions or just curious to learn what Christianity is all about, and for others, Jesus may appear to be the furthest thing from their minds!
God loves and pursues those who don’t yet know Him because He is in the business of reconciliation. As one of Christ’s ambassadors, you can become a point of connection for people to experience more of what Jesus is like as you share His love and good news!
Pray for the people in your world and expect the unexpected! Believe for those who do not yet know the Lord to start thinking and asking questions. As you create a space in your heart to remain open to the opportunities God gives you to share His love, you are partnering with God to see all people come to know and love Him.
THOUGHTS FOR PRAYER AND REFLECTION
