No More Pain

In the Old Testament, Jeremiah inquires of the Lord, “Why is my pain perpetual?” Unfortunately, many of us today live with chronic pain, including physical, emotional and spiritual. Is it possible to be completely pain-free? We are promised in Revelation a day will come when there is no more pain or sorrow; however God has given us preventative measures here on earth to be free of physical pain .

There are many pain-based circumstances beyond our control like a car accident or sports injury, but God created our bodies to be a self-healing organism with the ability to heal itself. If you have chronic pain and have never had a sports injury or car accident, begin to write down the foods you eat every day. From my experience, foods that have trans fats, labeled as partially hydrogenated oils, and sugar, stop the pain-relieving organisms from doing their job correctly. Foods and minerals including omega-3 fats, green beans, walnuts, leafy vegetables, and zinc have nutrients designed to help heal and eliminate pain.

If your pain is beyond physical, ask the Lord for His wisdom and comfort. He's here to help heal you!
