Lamb of God ಮಾದರಿ
Jesus Is the Lamb
Did you know the book of Revelation has 27 references to the Lamb? In every single reference, the Lamb is at the throne. Jesus is not on the outskirts. He is not on the fringes of heaven. He is not way down on cloud 63. He is at the throne of God as the Lamb and the Son of God. That is who He is. He is the Lion and the Lamb.
All through the Old Testament, people offered their lambs in sacrifice, for the blood to cover over their sin. This was something they had to do over and over again. They kept trying to balance the scales. But then Jesus showed up, fulfilling all of the prophecies of the Old Testament. He is the Lamb who was the substitutionary Atonement. He stepped in our place and was the Propitiation for our sins. He paid for your sins and mine and offers redemption to the entire world. If we place our faith and trust in His blood, the Lamb is over us, and that becomes our righteousness. We can walk into Heaven because it is Jesus’ righteousness, not ours, that allows us in. We can live a life following Christ because we have a passion for His righteousness.
Have you placed your trust in Jesus, alone, to be the payment for your sins? And if you have, has that thrust you into the future to say, “I want to follow Him?” We get the blessing of purity from the cross by following the Lamb of God.
As we end this plan, I encourage you to pray: Father, we thank You. We thank You for the old hymn that says, “Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne.” We celebrate, Lord Jesus, that You are the Lamb that was slain for our sins, who gives us forgiveness and purity. Righteousness comes from the Lamb over us. We thank You, Lord, and we pray that we would be followers of Christ. In your name, we pray, Amen.”

About this Plan
Through the Old Testament, we learn that people would take their lambs as a sacrificial offering to cover up their sins. Jesus came to take away the sin of the world. As followers of Christ, if we place our trust and faith in Him, our sins are forgiven and forgotten. We now can live righteously through Jesus!
