Loving Our Enemiesಮಾದರಿ
There is a legitimate suffering involved in showing mercy. It involves the pain of sacrificing strict justice being leveled for an injustice. However, remember there is also a reward for loving our enemies. Maybe an aspect of our “payoff” is linked to relational joy and the amazing freedom of heart involved in allowing God alone to be the loving judge of all? Jesus linked loving our enemies with showing mercy. Mercy is about not giving a person what they deserve. This is hard for us in a work/reward culture. But for Jesus’ people, justice must be nested in mercy because mercy triumphs over justice. We are called to “do justice”, but we are called to “love mercy”, not vice-a-versa!
Ask God to help you be mindful of a person to whom He wants you to offer an undeserved mercy.

About this Plan
Jesus said, “Love your enemies.” If the 2.2 billion Christians in the world did so, a contagious revolution would commence. Have you learned how? This greatest moral ethic in the history of humanity can only be embodied by people who allow Him to live “with” them in a genuine interactive relationship. In these lessons learn the infrastructure needed within our beings to spontaneously and authentically love our enemies.
