Is Healing the Will of God?ಮಾದರಿ
According to the Bible, how many times did Jesus die for your sin? Once and for all. How many times did he bear your sicknesses? Once and for all.
Many of us are scared of COVID-19 and other illnesses, but you don't have to live in fear. As a believer, you now bear the blood of Jesus, and Jesus killed death! Death and sickness shall fear you. When you touch a virus the virus will be healed and killed. For even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death you shall fear no evil. (Psalm 23:4) No sickness or disease shall befall your tent. (Psalm 91:10) You are now perpetually dwelling in the house of the Lord, under the shadow of the Almighty. For you are in Christ. Anything that must touch you must touch Christ. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. (Psalm 91:7) For YOU ARE THE CHILD OF GOD.
This hope is alive today. He is alive to bring His promises to manifestation. This hope shall never fail.
Now I will tell you something painful, okay? Your mother will tell you to not eat ice cream. You will go and eat one, two, three...twenty servings of ice cream. Tomorrow you will say, "Lord, why did I get this cold? It is not your will, Lord, that I should have a cold." That cold is on you. People indulge in adultery and contract STDs. That is on them, too. The devil tries his best to steal from us, to kill and to destroy everything. But you know what? God is willing to restore you. If you believe, ‘sṓzō’ (to save, keep safe and sound; to make well, heal, restore to health) will happen, restoration will happen. Today is the day God has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Forget about your past. What happened has happened. Believe in the Lord and be sṓzō-ed. Renew your mind to the will of God. The leper in Luke 5 was confused, but the moment he had clarity, he was healed and sṓzō-ed.
Thoughts cannot be changed by thoughts. Thoughts are changed by words. That’s why "building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost" is so important. (Jude 1:20) Brick by brick by brick this temple of God (your body) is built up. Pray in tongues as long as you need to because it builds you up.
Now, what if somebody did not get healed? Does that mean God is not true? Does that mean the Word is a lie? Our faith is not based on experiences but is based on the Word of God. Our experiences are not a doctrine. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Some people say Paul had back pain. But nowhere the bible says he has back pain, people assumed it because Paul said ‘Thorn in my flesh’. Now if I say, brother, why are you being a pain in my neck? Does that mean that I have a pain in my neck? No! That means why are you harassing me or irritating me. Right? I don’t want to go to college because it's just such a pain. Does that mean I have a backache or a blind eye? No!
The Bible says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. (Prov 18:21) Sometimes death comes from our tongue. We say things such as: “I’m gonna die” or “This is killing me” or “I love you to death,” often without thinking about it. Did you know that God created the world with words? Your words carry the same power and when you speak words contrary to the Word of God, you're creating space for death. Speak life!
Believe God that you might receive healing right now - in any area of your life. Finally, if there is somebody in your family that needs healing, believe for them. Keep pressing on, even if signs of healing aren't visible. Fight the good fight of faith. Don't give up. Having done all you can do, STAND, knowing it is God's will to heal!
Can’t wait to hear the testimonies and good news from you.
Be sṓzō-ed
