Take Authority Over Autism - Angeletta Gilesಮಾದರಿ
Pull Out a Chair
I want you to take two chairs and face them together. I want you to sit in one and invite God to sit in the other. It is time for you to release was has been hidden in your heart. He wants you to give it all to Him. Every word, hurt, pain, and disappointment. He’s been waiting to have this intimate conversation with you. He is a big God. If it doesn’t make sense to you or profanity slips, know that He is not offended by it. Talk to Him. Yell at Him. Be with Him.
When I did this the very first time a few years back, I realized God was waiting. When I trusted Him enough to give Him the ugly, He was able to move in my life freely—but I had to first release everything to Him. Guess what? He will not tell anyone!
So, pull out a chair and have a heart-to-heart with God. Tell Him you’re frustrated with the diagnosis and you’re mad at Him. Tell Him about the conversation you overheard where someone was speaking negatively about your child. Don’t hold back!
Homework: Write down your thoughts from your conversation with God.
