A Step Of Faithಮಾದರಿ
Faith For The Impossible
When Jairus first came to Jesus, he had faith that Jesus could heal his sick daughter and restore her back to health. Now the situation had changed. His daughter had died. The messengers that were sent from Jairus’ house suggested there would be no point Jesus coming now.
What Jesus does next is amazing. He asks Jairus to continue to have faith in Him, even though the situation now seems impossible. Would Jairus still believe? What could Jesus possibly do to help now?
The Bible shows us that Jesus has power over everything, even sickness and death. Although the child had died, Jesus says she is just asleep. Maybe that’s because bringing someone back to life is as easy for Jesus as it is for us to wake someone up who is sleeping. Jesus holds the hand of the little girl and brings her back to life, much to the amazement of those looking on!
No matter what we face in our lives, Jesus shows us that faith in God brings us to the place where impossible things become possible, because nothing is impossible for God. We can freely come to Jesus in prayer and ask for His help in any circumstance, knowing that whatever the outcome, God will ultimately work everything for the good of those who love Him. Jesus loves us more than we can possibly imagine, and He shows us in this story that faith in God is powerful because God is powerful, even in the face of life’s most challenging circumstances.
