Follow After Righteousness

DAY 2 OF 7

Pattern Your Life After Wise Counsel.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” Psalms‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There is a “right way” of doing things and there is a wrong way of doing things. Choose to pattern your life after God’s Word. Choose to pattern your life after His Counsel. His Word is His Counsel.

Psalm‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ declares, “BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.”

Don’t follow after the plans, advice, and counsel of the ungodly. Don’t stand submissive and inactive in the path where sinners walk. Actively choose to walk in the path of Righteousness. Actively seek His Way. Pursue Christ. Pursue His Way and crush the plans and traps of the enemy. For in the path of the righteous there is fullness of life. In the way of the carnal and ungodly there is death and destruction. Choose to surrender to Christ. Choose life.

Proverbs‬ ‭21:22‬ ‭NLT‬‬ declares, “The wise conquer the city of the strong and level the fortress in which they trust.” The wise will conquer cities. The wise will conquer territories. The wise will submit to Godly Counsel and overthrow the world’s way of doing things. Choose to surround yourself with wise counsel and let God enlarge your borders. Let God lead the good work of your hands.
