R.O.B. Fearಮಾದರಿ
I R.O.B. fear of its power when I live only for God.
Did you ever want to tell someone about Jesus, but you just chickened out?
Is there a kid you need to invite to church, but you don’t ask because you’re afraid they’ll say no?
Or, did you ever have to do a report on a famous person, write a story, or make an art project, and you wanted it to be about Jesus, but you got worried other people might make fun of you if you did?
Those are all times when fear is trying to stop you from living God’s way and sharing Jesus! Don’t let fearing what others may say, do, or think trap you and keep you from living for God. You can R.O.B. that kind of fear of its power with God’s truth from Proverbs 29:25. Trust in God only. He will keep you safe.
Talk it over: Talk about times when it’s hard for you to live God’s way because you’re worried about what other people might do, say, or think. Take the time to R.O.B. that fear of its power: R—remember God’s truth from Proverbs 29:25, O—open your mouth and say it out loud, and B—battle it out by doing the good thing you’re afraid to do.
