Help, I'm A Parent!ಮಾದರಿ
Introduction
For the most part, parents have autonomy in raising our children. In most cases, we instruct them based on our own moral values and beliefs. Those values might include honesty, integrity, kindness, and fairness, all of which are explored in Scripture through riveting narratives and skillfully written poetry that expresses the deepest joys and woes of the human heart.
Pray
God, give me a heart to always turn to your Word for help to raise my children.
Read
In this letter, the apostle Paul gives clear guidance to parents.
Ephesians 6:4
Reflect
At a time when we can find tips on almost any topic by searching Google or YouTube, it is important to check the right source to be sure the information we receive is trustworthy. Many have turned to Scripture for guidance and have found God’s Word to be a guiding lamp (see Psalm 119:105). Paul concurs and tells the Ephesian Christians to raise their children by applying Christian discipline laid out in Scripture.
Respond
What values do you want to instill in your children? Search the Scriptures to find Bible characters who demonstrate those ideals. Introduce them to your child/ren using digital apps, videos, or text, depending on the age of your child/ren, and spend time discussing with them the values being taught.

About this Plan
Parenting can be a rewarding, though challenging, process. Joy and sorrow, satisfaction and disappointment, sickness and health are part of the package. We often wish that our children arrived with a manual that tells us what to do, when, and how. No matter where we are on our parenting journey, we can turn to Scripture for guidance to help us get through the maze that is parenting!
