Faith Builders

DAY 3 OF 6

Part Three - Strong Faith

Our God is the God of the impossible. This means that, through faith, we can believe for impossible things to happen and see God move in BIG ways! Believing that God will move in our lives and in the lives of those around us can sometimes take a lot of faith though!

We can read about an example of strong faith in the Bible, in Matthew 8:5-13. This is a story about a Centurion, an army officer, who believed that his sick servant would be healed.

The Centurion said that He just needed to 'say the word and his servant will be healed.' The Centurion had a strong faith that God is who He says He is, and that His promises were true!

You can see God heal people too - you just have to have faith, pray and ask God! Keep on praying for the people in your life that are waiting for a miracle and you can see God move.

ASK:

Is your faith strong like that of the Centurion?

In what situations can you find it hard to have a lot of faith to see God move?

Are there any situations where you want God to heal, either you or someone else?

PRAY:

Dear God, thank you that you are a God of the impossible. Thank you that you healed the Centurion's servant and that you can heal people today too. I pray that you help me to have a strong faith to see the sick healed and miracles happen. I pray that you give me opportunities to pray and to see people healed so that I can tell them about you.  Amen.

Take some time to also pray specifically for anyone that you know that needs healing or another miracle in their life. Remember, God can move in big ways through the faith that you have in Him!

About this Plan

Faith Builders

In this devotional, written for children aged 4-11 years old, we will be exploring what ‘Faith’ is. In the Bible, Jesus helps us to understand what having faith in God and His incredible, miraculous power looks like. Through this devotional, we will discover how God wants us to build our faith and learn that He is ALWAYS good and that He wants us to trust Him in all things!
