If Any of You Lack Wisdomಮಾದರಿ
Treasure God’s Counsel.
“MY SON, if you will receive my words and treasure up my commandments within you, Making your ear attentive to skillful and godly Wisdom and inclining and directing your heart and mind to understanding [applying all your powers to the quest for it];” Proverbs 2:1-2 AMPC
Treasure His Commands. Choose to give your ear over to Christ. Pay attention to His Word. Incline your ear and let wisdom direct your heart. Wisdom is critical for your spiritual development. Wisdom is critical for your growth and the development of your character. Give your whole heart over to His Word and surrender to Christ. Surrender to Wisdom.
Proverbs 2:4-6 AMPC declares, “If you seek [Wisdom] as for silver and search for skillful and godly Wisdom as for hidden treasures, Then you will understand the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of [our omniscient] God. For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Seek wisdom. For the Lord gives wisdom freely— if you ask. Choose to treasure it. Hide it within the borders of your heart and let God completely transform your life.
Proverbs 2:7 AMPC declares, “He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with Him); He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity,” He is a shield to those who surrender to Him. Choose to walk in the way of wisdom. Walk after the Counsel of Christ. His Wisdom is His Counsel. His Word is His Counsel. Treasure His Word. Pattern yourself after Wisdom and God’s Way of doing things. Let Wisdom lead your life.
