10 Days To A Better Back To Schoolಮಾದರಿ
Psalm 25:4-5
Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Moms struggle with the thought of being a “good mom”. No matter how great a mom you are, you feel that you are not doing enough, giving enough or loving enough. Ask God to teach you and direct you on how to be the best mom you can possibly be, and look to Him for fulfillment, not your children. As you mother your children, seek God like you never have before in your life, and ask for His wisdom.
In order for us to follow God, we need to pursue Him with all our heart and “learn” His ways just as our children learn from their teachers at school. God’s ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:11). Therefore, we must ask God to teach us; then, humble ourselves and follow after Him. As God leads you on the road of motherhood, obey His commands, even if they feel uncomfortable for you. God’s way is always the right way.
Prayer
Father,
I earnestly seek you with all my heart. I want to follow you in every aspect of my life, especially in my role as a mom. God, this job is too big for me to navigate on my own, and I acknowledge that you know more than I do. Guide me, teach me and mold me into your likeness. Thank you for your patience with me. Amen.
