The Magnificence Of Christ In The Psalmsಮಾದರಿ
A Priest Forever In The Order Of Melchizedek
Dear Father, I am greatly in awe that, at this one and only time, You swore the solemn oath and command that Your Son is the Priest Forever, in the Order of Melchizedek. I praise Him that His life and His priesthood have no beginning and no end. I rejoice that the foundation of all Christ does in and for the Church is laid in His priestly office, whereby He made atonement and reconciliation for sin. I am so grateful for the absolute assurance that we believers have of eternal life through the Priest Forever, from many Scripture passages like Hebrews 6:19-20, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.” I think of how Melchizedek was referred to as the “King of Salem,” or the “King of Peace.” I
pray that You will help me and all Christ’s followers today to live in the fullness of righteousness and peace we have through our beloved Jesus, the Priest Forever, in the Order of Melchizedek. I pray these things in His holy name.

About this Plan
Each daily devotional has a different name or attribute of God from the Psalms that is ultimately fulfilled in Christ. You will read the Psalm with Christ's name in it, then worship Him and pray for His Lordship of your life based upon His name of the day. Hopefully, this will help you know Christ more and love Him more. All Scripture used is from the NIV Bible.
