How To Become A Creative Leader People Want To Followಮಾದರಿ
Be Open to Critique
We will never know it all even when we think we do. Church is God's amazing invention for people to grow and become more like Christ. And it’s in relationships with other people that we learn the most.
Only the wise listen to what other people have to say. That's what makes them wise. They are open to criticism and counter opinions, which in some cases might be right, but yet in others totally wrong. When we are open to others, we can grow more than we could if we didn't.
And let's be honest - it doesn't feel good to be corrected. There is something in us that makes us feel attacked and insecure. Even when we are wrong and someone else points it out, there is no problem with that. We can learn from others.
If you work with a team, try to use this amazing technique that will create so much security when it comes to feedback. Whenever you want to suggest a change say "If there was something I knew that could make you better would you like to know it?” If someone asks us this we should always be open to listen. Even when we ultimately disagree, we might have a great discussion that will build the other person.
