God Of Wonders Family Devotional For Kidsಮಾದರಿ
A Deliverer is Born
After Joseph died, a new Pharaoh rose to power that did not remember how God saved Egypt from famine. This new Pharaoh grew fearful of God’s people, the Hebrews, because they had become so numerous.
His fear drove Pharaoh to have all newborn Israelite boys drowned in the Nile River. One mother, desperate to save her son, put him in a small basket and floated him down the Nile. The basket was found by Pharaoh’s daughter and she named the child “Moses!”
Moses’ story began filled with danger and uncertainty. When was a time where you felt uncertain or fearful about your future? It’s important to remember that our lives aren’t accidents. God has a purpose and a plan for all of His children; that is why the Bible encourages us to remember His faithfulness and meditate on His goodness.
But then I recall all you have done, O Lord;
I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.
They are constantly in my thoughts.
I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.
– Psalm 77:11-12 (NLT)
