Priceless: Who I Am When I Feel...ಮಾದರಿ
When I Feel Abandoned...I’m WANTED by God!
You were never meant to feel the pain of being abandoned. That’s not what God wanted for you. When sin came into our world, one of it’s most terrible side-effects was broken, hurting people who would break and hurt other people’s hearts.
Have you ever failed a test that you really wanted to pass? You studied and tried your best, but you just didn’t have the answers or the ability at that particular moment to pass. The same can be true of people who fail you. Sometimes they don’t want to fail, but they do. Because of sin, they are broken and fall short of being who they are supposed to be for you.
People make mistakes, but God doesn’t. God cannot fail you. He cannot leave you or forsake you. Not because He has to, He holds you close because He wants to. He abandoned His own Son on the cross with sin because He wanted to be with you. He chose you!
You may feel abandoned because you don’t have a friend or boyfriend or father you can trust. God is your forever companion. When the whole world walks out, your Heavenly Daddy walks in! Listen to His invitation and feel free to talk openly with Him. Here’s how…
My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.”
And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.”
Dear Heavenly Father,
I just want to say thank you for listening to me and for making me feel so important. I’m honored that You want to spend time with me. I love how You understand my deepest thoughts that I can’t even put into words. You are my safe haven. I can tell you everything that is happening in my life, and You don’t judge me.
10 Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close…
Yet I am confident I will see the LORD’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
Lord Jesus,
Thank you that no matter what happens to me on this earth, no one can take away my relationship with You. Come close and wrap your arms around me ! Help me to see the good things you have planned for me here and now (in the land of the living). Thank you for being my Best Friend!
