Christ In You: Living Into Your Life's Purposeಮಾದರಿ
God Is With You
God is in your midst.
He doesn’t keep watch from a distance. He’s here at ground level with you, right in the middle of your life. And He’s rejoicing over you, delighting in you—pleased as can be to spend time with you (Zephaniah 3:17).
Throughout the Bible, God reminds His people of His promise to be with them (Genesis 26:24; Isaiah 41:9-10). Jesus Christ was the ultimate fulfillment of that promise, becoming flesh and dwelling among us (John 1:14).
At the beginning of the book of Matthew, we read that Jesus’ name is Immanuel, which means God with us (Matthew 1:23). The book closes with Jesus saying, “I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
Those words are Christ’s steadfast promise to never leave your side—to be with you forever. He delights to enter into all the details of your day—to truly dwell with you—and to help you navigate it all. When you open the door to Him, He promises to come in and inhabit your whole life (Revelation 3:20).
Through Jesus, the Lord pours out His love into your life so that you are filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). Being filled with His presence means you’re able to walk through every situation with unshakable joy.
Today, may your heart overflow with inexpressible and glorious joy as you remember Jesus’ promise to be with you through every moment of your day (1 Peter 1:8-9).
