Reading the Bible in Historical Sequence Part 5ಮಾದರಿ
1005 BC With the help of Hiram, a skilled artisan of Tyre, and with Canaanite labor, the Temple is finished and furnished after seven years’ work. ‘The Lord has chosen Zion ... for his habitation.’ Solomon then starts his palace complex.
Note 2 Chronicles 4:5: A bath is approximately 5.8 gallons or 22 liters. The quantity of 3,000 baths mentioned here seems to include the 1,000 baths required for 10 mobile lavers on carts. Normally the large laver seems to contain 2,000 baths (1 Kings 7:26).
