It All Leads To Nowಮಾದರಿ
Closing and Continuing
We’ve been on quite a journey following Moses through the first chapters of this book. By looking at the beginning steps of the Exodus, we have taken some principles for our own life. The journey is not only to discover God’s will for our lives, but to also discover the God of God’s will. Our search strategically concludes at the crossing of the Red Sea, when the Lord unleashed His mighty power and filled His people with awe and trust. But there is much more to the life of Moses: still ahead are the Ten Commandments, the golden calf, manna, water from a rock and many peaks and valleys. Keep reading the book of Exodus and look for God’s hand at work all the way.
There is also much more to your life ahead. We’ve stopped mid-sea in the life of Moses to symbolically say that your life is continuing on as well. God willing, you have years ahead of you, with a thousand forks in the road. Keep walking in faith and trusting His whispers of direction. He will lead you as He did Moses. It won’t be with a pillar of cloud or fire, but there will be a voice, still and small, yet effective. To hear from God and shout, “Yes!” is the joy of life. Christ’s great power in you comes alive as God’s will unfolds before you. What a thought that a shepherd, in the middle of nowhere, with a felony to his account, could become the Moses we remember now by him simply and consistently saying yes.
God’s desire to take a person from “wandering” to “called” still exists today. He wants to take people who feel useless and make them known for their usefulness. He can steer a person from a string of poor decisions to being revered as wise beyond their years. Jesus is a straight-A student in the class of life change and has every PhD possible in leadership. Daily, we must embrace the guidance of the Lord. Only then will the wonderful combination of knowing God and knowing His will come together synergistically. Make it your ambition, make it your aspiration to know Christ; then His will becomes the natural result. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.
Go, friend, go! Find God’s will. Seek Him, know Him, take the next step.

About this Plan
The story of the Red Sea crossing is one of the most famous in all of Scripture. Moses and his rag-tag bunch of slaves destroying the well-heeled army of Pharaoh appeals to the heart of anyone rooting for the underdog. This account can encourage us corporately and individually to live the life God intends for us. And brings together the principles we have explored about discovering God and His will.
