Weak and Weary: His Strength Is Your Strengthಮಾದರಿ
Your New Habit
My dear one, here we are, beginning again. I know you can feel lost, broken, distracted, weary, and downcast. I know you can feel overwhelmed and lonely and confused about the next step. There always feels like a next step, right? There always feels like there is another thing to do, another obligation to fulfill, another task to complete.
I know you hear words about trusting Me and resting with Me and surrendering to Me and looking to Me. I tell you these things, I know.
I know you wonder how to do that and even if you are capable. Habits are familiar. Routines feel safe. Starting from scratch? Abandoning all you know and believed before about how to do things well, successfully? That feels radical, uncomfortable, risky.
I feel risky.
Losing your life to gain Me feels the riskiest of all.
I know.
I know you.
I know when you sit and when you rise. I know your every thought, your every worry—every pause and breath and turn of your heart.
If the one who knows you better than anyone says He is safe—what else can be trusted?
Let Me rewrite the schedule, the agenda for this day. Let Me paint you a picture of open-space freedom where trusting Me becomes the new habit—the new heart born again in the woman I created. You are only as strong as you are weak. You are only as fearless and free as you are willing . . . willing to not have the answers, the plan . . . and surrender.
Yes, I have more to tell you. I have more to show you.
Keep listening.
I’ll quiet your heart.
