Standing Tall In A Falling World By Angelique du Toitಮಾದರಿ
Personal Transformation
Personal transformation is costly. The price is well worth paying because the rewards far outweigh the investment. Imagine living a life of true freedom—freedom from your past, freedom from others’ opinions, freedom to be you. Imagine being able to look honestly at yourself in the mirror and thank God for making you just the way you are (see Psalm 139:13–16); then co-operating with Him to make the adjustments, improvements and changes necessary to release even greater joy in your life.
In that place of wholeness and soundness of heart, you can thoroughly enjoy sharing your life with someone else and not be afraid of intimacy, rejection or disappointment. Your soundness is founded and grounded in God and not in man because there is no instability or shadow of turning with Him.
You can totally trust the character of God. He will never let you down. You can be secure in Him. He may do things differently to your way of thinking, but He is always trustworthy and is constantly interested in your well-being (see 2 Timothy 2:13 and Psalm 37:4–6).
Trust God to bring good out of your present suffering and then when you look back and connect the dots, you will know for certain that God has been involved in working all things together for your good (see Romans 8:28). Make the choice today to put your life in God’s very capable hands.
