The key to Good Choices is that the poorest people in the Macedonian churches sowed in faith with great generosity and trusted God to help a very prosperous Corinthian church heading for spiritual disaster. This story inspired me because the Macedonian churches saw the need to help someone when they themselves were in greater need. This is the complete opposite of what one would expect. It was literally beyond their means. This is what gripped me to study this passage of scripture further.
