"To Know Him: Rest In Him"
There is one question college students are constantly asked: What are you going to do next? People are always encouraging us to have plans for the next seasons of our lives: Where will you work? Where will you live? Are you dating anyone? What about kids?
Truthfully, we don’t know the answers to these questions, but we somehow find ways to formulate responses. If our schedules are not constantly filled, we feel like we’re being lazy. We have to keep running or someone else will pass us up, right?
Instead of asking what you are going to do next, the better question is: When are you going to rest? So often in life we want to run when God wants us to rest. I challenge you to stop running for the approval of others and to start resting in the acceptance of your Savior. He knows everything about you, the good and the bad, yet loves you unconditionally. God spoke truth over your life way before others spoke their opinions.
Even in the midst of the uncertainty, God is in control, and he wants you to rest in that. Take a moment to stop worrying about whatever you need to run toward next and allow yourself to rest in what God is doing now.

The lens through which we see the world is crucial. The way we see the world often determines our satisfaction in life. The same could be said of our faith. The way we see faith, Jesus, and our pursuit of Him shapes our satisfaction in life. Join us as we spend seven days looking at the lenses of our lives, knowing Jesus, and the goal we seek as Christians.
