From Bethlehem to Moab, and Back Again: 5 Day Bible Planគំរូ
Day 5
Ruth 1:22 So Naomi returned from Moab accompanied by Ruth the Moabite, her daughter-in-law, arriving in Bethlehem as the barley harvest was beginning.
My nephew is somewhat of a breakfast expert. Every morning, he shakes his own combination of the cereals on offer into his bowl. No two days are the same. Something different to begin each day.
Lamentations 3:22–23 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
New mercies from God to begin each day.
Do we look for them? Expect them?
Naomi and Ruth arrived in Bethlehem just as the harvest was beginning.
They were in the right place to receive from the harvest.
They’d deliberately positioned themselves there.
Reflect: Is your heart in the right place, open to receive blessings from God each day?
Prayer: Father God, thank you that you want to bless me. Help me to be ready to receive all you offer. Amen
