The Treasures of Psalm 23គំរូ
What if you let Him lead you?
“He leads me in the paths of righteousness.” (The Bible, Psalm 23:3)
Jesus, the Good Shepherd, came so that His sheep would have life and have it in abundance: “‘I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’” (John 10:10)
His sheep hear His voice: “‘My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.’” (John 10:27)
They come in, go out, and find pasture. The shepherd’s desire is that his sheep find joy and fulfillment in green pastures: “‘I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.’”(John 10:9)
Jesus is your shepherd. Let Him lead your life! He wants to guide you step by step along His good path toward an abundant, satisfied, and joyful life.
Did you know that in one of Jesus’s earliest public messages, “The Beatitudes”, He uses the word “blessed,” also meaning “happy,” nine times? Joy is the destiny that God has in store for you: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”(Jeremiah 29:11)
David concludes this psalm by saying, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” (Psalm 23:6) We’ll see this a bit later.
Until then, what if you asked your Shepherd to lead you?
Thanks for existing!
