Love God Greatly - His Name Is....

DAY 12 OF 27

READ: Rev. 21:1-8

SOAP: Revelation 21:4-8

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

Salvation is found through God’s creation and Jesus’ redemption. Like a salve or an ointment for relief from pain, salvation seeps into every burden and heals every wound. But heaven erases our scars. The heartbreak, loss, anxiety, and agonies now are already formers to our present God.

God has already conquered death! He has already choked out evil! What a hope and what a promise to live in a new creation with Him!

It in finished in Him but He is still working in us. Until we are with Him and the flaws of this world completely fall away from us, God wants to use His followers to bring all of His children to a new creation. Has reading His promises in Revelation stirred a sense of urgency in you to share His love with others? Pray to God and ask Him who you could invite to Christmas services at your church this year. Then ask Him for the courage to follow through and bring them with you!

About this Plan

Love God Greatly - His Name Is....

Through studying the names of God, we get to know our Savior more fully and spend time adoring Him for who He is. God shows Himself to us through His names because of His great love for us. We, in turn, have the privilege of loving, worshiping, and resting in Him on an even deeper level during this reflective time of year.
