Daily Encouragementნიმუში

The people were, gladly bringing “more than enough” gifts towards the making of the sanctuary. It is not often that the kind of restraining order which Moses then had to issue has to be given to the people of God!
“More than enough” - this phrase describes the giving of willing hearts. “And everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the Tent of Meeting . . . All who were willing, men and women alike” (Ex. 35:21,22). We sense the atmosphere of true worship which must have existed, and our minds run on to Mary’s pure nard. That was more than sufficient to anoint the feet of Jesus, for “the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume” (John 12:3).
“More than enough” - this phrase well describes the greatest gift of all, God’s indescribable gift, (2 Corinthians 9:15). “He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world” (1 John 2:2).
There is plentiful redemption
In the blood that has been shed;
There is joy for all the members
In the sorrows of the Head.
