Bring Them Back: Devotions From Time of Grace Ministryნიმუში

IT'S MY OWN FAMILY: IT'S MY HUSBAND
How hard it must be to have an unbelieving husband--to have to pray alone, go to church alone, read your Bible alone, and receive no spiritual support. How hard it must be to feel like a widow or divorcee in church. What would make it seem even worse is a situation in which the husband once was an active believer but fell away.
Is that your life? Don't give up--maybe just change your strategy. Not all witnessing for your faith is verbal. Sometimes the fallen-away husband knows all the words but just can't believe them. That's where nonverbal witnessing comes in: "Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives" (1 Peter 3:1,2).
Love professed can be blown off. Love demonstrated is much more powerful. Any man who feels despised by his wife will die inside and will close himself off to her. A man who has rejected his wife's beliefs but still feels respected and supported may be moved to change his mind.
