DAY 2 OF 8

The ball

The ball is the goal, and it is what we must hit to score goals for the Kingdom of God. Every decision we make, every step we take in faith is like a shot toward the goal. The final goal is the glory of God and the expansion of His Kingdom. However, beware: even the devil knows how to use the ball. He will not play fair. Peter warns us to watch because the devil, like a lion, will try to devour us.

The enemy will try to put obstacles in our way, to deceive us with false directions, like a defender who tries to block our path. The devil knows that if we score, if we do the will of God, we bear fruit and testimony, and the spiritual game is won. For this reason he will do everything to prevent us from hitting the goal.

Just like in a soccer match, where the opposing goalkeeper does everything to save the ball, so the devil will put himself between us and our goal. But let us remember, as we have already said, the game is won in Christ. Jesus has already triumphed. Our task is to stay focused on the goal and take our shot, with faith in God, knowing that He will give us the strength to score goals and bring salvation to those in need. Let us not let the devil stop us.

About this Plan

Easy Winning

Imagine soccer not just as a sport, but as a powerful metaphor for the Christian life. Every aspect of the game, the field, the rules, the challenges, and the ultimate goal, is reflected in our spiritual journey. As in a game, we face obstacles, work together toward a common goal, and learn to give our all to overcome difficulties. Every move matters, every choice brings us closer to victory. In this study, we will discover how the dynamics of the game can reveal profound lessons about faith and Christian life, knowing that the game is already life.
