King of Thornsნიმუში

6th Day
Is it possible to live in this type of freedom from the curse even in these days that we are living in?
Sometimes we hear people say that the Bible is a very inspiring book, but we cannot believe the Scriptures in today’s world. People might say that they heard Jesus can heal and Jesus can save, but not anymore today. I want to shed some light on that topic. When we think that the stories we read in the Bible about healing and deliverance and salvation and so forth were only for a period of time then we say that God is a God that favors and He is a God that is dead. God didn’t favor the people of two thousand years ago and that is why He chose them to reveal His Son to them. That is a lie of the enemy.
The words of Jesus carry power throughout all the ages. The Bible says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Hebrews goes on in chapter 4 verse 12 and says the Bible is alive and active. Meaning the Bible and the written and spoken words of God cannot die. Isaiah 40:8 says the grass will wither and the flower will fade but the Word of God will remain forever. Over and over again we see Scriptures that the Bible is not a periodic book, it is the eternal, life-giving, Word of Truth.
If we say that the thorns are still present in this world, and that is why it is evidence that Jesus doesn’t have power anymore, then my friend, you have been deceived. Jesus spoke of these days that will come which proves His words to be true even more. You can’t say healing was for the Bible times because that means that Jesus stopped caring for people and handed them over again to the devil. That is a lie of the enemy. If you say that, then it means that when He ascended into heaven He gave the power back to the devil to torture people with the thorns and thistles. But the Bible clearly says that Jesus stripped the enemy of his power and now Jesus holds the keys of death and the grave. Jesus has all authority in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. The Bible clearly says that there is no other name like the Name of Jesus. Jesus is exalted over everything. Which means He still reigns. Which means His Blood still flows. His Spirit still moves.
The Gospel is a today-Gospel. The Gospel of the Kingdom is a now-Kingdom. Don’t be fooled by the lies of the enemy that Jesus is not on the throne just because you might face a difficult situation or the world is in chaos. He wore the crown of thorns once and for all. Now He gives to all who believe in Him a crown of life, a crown of salvation, a crown of righteousness. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is King over the thorns.
We have a choice. We must choose for ourselves which crown we are going to wear. Either the crown of thorns or the crown of glory. The crown that you grow is the crown that you own.
About this Plan

There are so many things that are part of the Christian life, but one of the main subjects of discussion is the reality of righteousness and freedom from sin. In this plan, we will discover what Jesus accomplished on the cross for us. How that can change our lives so we are not only forgiven of our sins but free from the things that once held us captive.
