Day 7: Hope in God’s Promises

Scripture: Revelation 21:4
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

The ultimate hope we have as Christians is that one day, all our unmet longings and struggles will be wiped away. God promises that in the new heaven and new earth, there will be no more pain, no more longing, no more tears. All things will be made new, and we will experience the fullness of His joy and peace.

In this present world, we may face seasons of longing, but we can look forward with hope to the day when all things will be restored. The promises of God are sure, and we can trust that He will bring an end to every sorrow and fulfill every desire in His perfect time. Let this hope sustain you as you navigate the tension of longing and waiting.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the hope of eternal life with You. I look forward to the day when all my longings will be fulfilled in Your presence. Until then, help me to hold fast to Your promises and to live with the hope that one day, You will wipe away every tear and make all things new. I trust in Your faithfulness and await the day of Your return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
