Daily Bible Reading—December 2024, God’s Guiding Word: Joyნიმუში

Introduction
Luke 21:25–38: By means of cosmic signs, Jesus describes the coming of the Son of Man, which Christians interpret as Christ’s Second Coming. Jesus exhorts his followers to remain vigilant and faithful.
Today’s Key Verse: Luke 21:27
[Jesus said:] “Then the Son of Man will appear, coming in a cloud with great power and glory.”
Reflect
How do you envision the coming of the Son of Man? Jesus tells his followers that “heaven and earth will pass away” but that his “words will never pass away” (verse 33). What “words” of Jesus are especially meaningful to you?
Pray
Lord Jesus, as I await your coming in power and glory, I see you revealed each day in every act of kindness and in every kind word that is spoken. Your words that will never pass away remind me of your steadfast love and fill my heart with joy and hope. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Daniel 10:1—11:2a: Daniel is given a vision of the future.
